BEER: Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye Specialty Ale

Bear Republics Hop Rod Rye is not a beer I would traditionally try, however, Bear Republic has yet to fail me, so I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. This beer is very similar in characteristics to Bear Republics Racer 5. With that said you can taste a strong rye overtone, which is flavorful and robust. I would definitely recommend this beer to conservative traditionalists.

BEER: Stone Brewing Co. Sublimely Self- Righteous Ale

Stone Brewing is my favorite brewery in the entire world. They make my favorite Beer (Stone IPA), they make the best strong ales's, and they have by far the best label designs in the entire industry. With that said, This reproduction of stone anniversary ale year 11 is absolutely amazing. It has an amazingly complex sweet to bitter cycle that sends your taste buds on a roller coaster ride. The front is sweet not sugary, and the back is bitter in a very tasty way. I recommend this seasonal ale to anyone that is looking to experience an amazing beer, I also reccomend this beer to anyone that is trying to move up in the beer world. It is strong enough to show you what you have been missing, but not so strong that you will be scared back to Coors.lt

BEER: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

The Beer of my youth! IF you havent tried SN Pale Ale, I would suggest crawling out from whatever rock you have been living under, and give your taste buds a rush of joy. If you have tried this beer then you already know that fresh SN on tap is as good as it gets.

BEER: Various

On the way to Germany had to taste one last American Micro Brew

One of San Diego's finest. I highly recommend any Pizza Port Beer, especially their IPA

This is by far the best cap I have ever seen. This is the top to a Santa Cruz ale house IPA.

One of the top 5 beers I have ever tasted. Found this beer on a road trip in Nor Cal at a roadside Mecca named Granzella's in Williams, CA.

Ratebeer.com gave Uberhoppy a perfect score, I give it an almost perfect score in my book. I have yet to find the perfect beer

Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary Stout aka Fritz and Kens ALE brewed by Fritz Maytag (SF's Anchor Brewing Co. /Father of craft brew) in honor of Sierra's 30th year of successful Brewing. Congrats on a mighty fine celebration beer!

Bear Republic's Racer 5 IPA is definitely one of the most drinkable, and best tasting IPA's on the market
